The purposeof this work is to show the new members of the Latin American Group of IAMSLIC,about the importance of being part of IAMSLIC and the rapprochement with theinternational agencies ODINCARSA and ASFA, essential links in the progress of aquaticand marine research, through cooperation and exchange of data and information. Theobjectives and way of working of each organization are explained so that thelibrarian can be integrated into the programs and contribute to the exchange ofinformation in a pertinent way to access portals to global information, inaddition to receiving training in information management.
